Ms. Thompson is also a talented stage director and is always looking for opportunities, particularly within the world of opera. Her credits include Menotti's The Medium, de Falla's La Vida Breve, scenes from Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream, Bizet's Carmen, and Rodger and Hammerstein's State Fair, to name a few.
In addition to stage directing, Ms. Thompson runs the Great Lakes Light Opera. She also founded and directed the Fuchs Mizrachi girls' choir in Beachwood, Ohio. She is responsible for combining musical instruction with choral rehearsal at the high school level. The school has no music classes aside from this choir. Additionally, she was hired to pilot a drama and musical theatre program at the Cleveland Boys and Girls Club. This program was designed for youth ages 4-18.
